Julia Biegel started her nursing career on the “float team” at North Shore University Hospital on Long Island in 2016. She worked in units including cardiac, psychiatric, emergency room, etc. Julia then decided to work on the Neurology/ Neuro-surgery unit for two years. After working through the challanges of Covid, she moved to Manhattan to join Ascendants nursing team and found her true passion in the mental health and addiction field.
She is looking forward to the upcoming psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program in 2024 to provide her with valuable knowledge and skills to further make an impact. In her free time, Julia enjoys reading a good book, exercise, travel, and being in the sun.
