Mike proudly serves as the Director of Admissions for Ascendant New York. Shortly after beginning his own journey of recovery when he was 22 years old, he felt a calling to help individuals and families in need of guidance. Mike started in this field as client support in sober living scene right here in New York City. He has worked in all levels of care from detox, inpatient, outpatient, and supportive living. As a recovery coach he worked directly with clients and families to assist in achieving recovery goals.
After working in business development for years, Mike was excited to join the Ascendant family as the Director of Admissions. Mike takes pride in his compassionate approach to assisting individuals and families navigating treatment. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, as well as playing hockey and golf.
