David Seitz, MD

Dr. David Seitz is the Acting Medical Director of Ascendant NY and Associate Professor at the Weill-Cornell School of Medicine.  Dually Board Certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Seitzwas Medical Director of The Recovery Center at Nyack Hospital and Intercare prior to joining Ascendant.

Dr. Seitz’s treatment philosophy emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, including both medical treatment (such as the use of evidence-based detoxification protocols and medically assisted treatment), cognitive behavioral therapy and treatment modalities such as massage therapy, meditation and yoga.
