Recovering from a substance use disorder is a lifelong journey. But it never begins in solitude. Serving the five boroughs and tri-state area, Ascendant NY offers a full continuum of exclusive, luxurious care to ensure you receive exactly the level of supportive treatment you need.

Other treatment programs remove you from the city, taking you to a distant treatment center to pursue recovery. Here, you’ll find the cutting-edge treatment and support you need with all the charm and electric energy of the city. We believe there is power in leveraging our unique local environment to create a holistic healing experience for people struggling with substance use disorders.

We offer four distinct treatment programs: Detox, residential, intensive outpatient, and an alumni program.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Treatment Programs

How do I determine my needed level of care?

The appropriate level of care is determined by factors such as the severity of the addiction, medical needs, mental health background, and individual circumstances. Ascendant NY will conduct a comprehensive evaluation to determine the best level of care for you.

How long do treatment programs last?

Treatment duration will be different for everyone, depending on their individual needs and progress. Some clients may begin with detox, then transition to residential or outpatient treatment, while others will start in outpatient care directly. Programs can last from a few weeks to several months, and ongoing assistance can be accessed through aftercare and/or alumni services.

Will I be able to transfer between different types of care during treatment?

Yes, many people transfer between levels of care as they progress through recovery. For instance, a person may begin with detox/residential treatment and step down to an intensive outpatient program as they become more stable. Additionally, some clients may have to step up to higher levels of care temporarily if they require more support. This level of flexibility helps to ensure that treatment continues to be appropriate as clients change throughout their recovery journey.

What can I expect after completing treatment?

Recovery does not end with the completion of formal treatment. Many programs include aftercare planning and alumni support to assist clients in maintaining their sobriety, continuing to utilise available recovery resources, and developing a support network post-treatment.
